Birthday parties

What a party includes

Parties are on Sunday afternoons. You bring the cake and the guests; we open the pool, lead the games in the water and set up the deck.

  • Pool time with an instructor

Guests swim with our instructors in the water for the party's swim time, with games for the younger guests and the older ones.

  • A party area on the deck

A table and benches by the pool for cake, presents and towels. Food and cake come from home.

  • Adults on the deck

The host and the guests' parents stay on the deck for the whole party. Party swim is play, not a lesson.

  • Games and floats

Noodles, rings and mats for the games, and kickboards for guests who want one.

  • Guests of every age

Tell us the guests' ages when you book, and we plan the games and the shallow and deep areas to suit them.

  • Setup and clean-up

We set up the deck before you arrive and clean up after, so you can sit down with the cake.

How a party goes

From the first call to the cake

  1. 01

Step 1: Choose a Sunday and a time

Call the front desk or send us a message with the day you have in mind.

  2. 02

Step 2: Tell us who is coming

Share the guests' ages and how many adults will be on the deck, so we can plan the games.

  3. 03

Come a little early. The deck is ready, and there is a cubby for every guest's things.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Swim and play

The instructors lead the games in the water while the adults watch from the deck.

  5. 05

Step 5: Cake on the deck

Dry off, wrap up in a towel and gather at the party table for cake and presents.

Adult supervision

The adults stay on the deck

Every party has adults on the deck from beginning to end, and our instructors lead the games in the water. An instructor with a lifeguard check watches the water during party swim.

Guests do not need to know how to swim. Tell us the ages and the swimming experience of the guests, and an adult stays with any swimmer who is new to the water.

  • Hosts and parents on the deck all party

  • Instructors in the water for the games

  • Party swim is play, not a lesson

Questions about parties

Which days are parties?

Birthday parties are on Sunday afternoons, by booking. Ask us whether another day is open.

How many guests can come?

It depends on the guests' ages and how many adults will be on the deck. Tell us when you book, and we will plan the party around it.

Can we bring our own cake and food?

Yes. The party area has a table and benches, and food and cake come from home. Tell us about any allergies when you book by phone, not in the website form.

Do guests need to know how to swim?

No. We plan the water time around the youngest guests, and an adult stays with any swimmer who is new to the water.

Who is watching the water?

Our instructors are in the water for the games, an instructor with a lifeguard check watches the pool, and the adults from the party stay on the deck.

How do we book a party?

Call the front desk or use the contact page. We will find a Sunday and tell you what to bring.
